Timothy Hanlon is a Manager of Applied Innovation at RBC Royal Bank. Tim will be talking at Toronto Wiki Tuesdays March 2010 event.

When: Tuesday, March 9, 2010 6:30 PM

Tim will give a short presentation outlining the current use of wikis in RBC, including an examination of what is working, prior pilot efforts - such as Sharepoint - (the good the bad and the ugly…) and offer thoughts on some of the hurdles which need to be addresses for better adoption in non-technological organisations.

Tim is responsible for a number of specific innovation initiatives as a member of the team responsible for thought leadership, future proofing and delivering net new capabilities to the bank. Tim has been a social media and process pioneer for RBC, including introducing the fist blog and twitter efforts for a Canadian FI as part of an open innovation program called The Next Great Innovator Challenge.

Currently Tim is working as a social computing and innovation SME for the several groups within RBC.

Talk starts at 7pm. We meet in a private room in a pub so food and drink is available for purchase. Please arrive at 6:30 for networking.
